After a night the Hotel Nacional - enjoying cigars and mojitos - we flew in an aging Russian helicopter to Cayo Laviso to scuba dive and relax on the beach. From there to Vinales for some mountain biking and caving, then back to Havana to celebrate Mardi Gras (which Castro decreed would be in July). We enjoyed dancing in the street (some on the stage) and rum poured from steel drums out of the back of a truck.
